This course is designed for beginners, aligned with the Central Conservatory of Music exam requirements (Grades 1-2), covering the following topics:
- Music Fundamentals and Theory: Understanding the staff, rhythm, and note values
- Erhu Structure and Bowing: Learning proper bowing techniques and playing posture
- Basic Fingering Techniques: Practicing fundamental fingering and scales
- Playing Techniques: Mastering long bow, short bow, fast bow, continuous bow, vibrato, and sliding techniques
- Sight-Reading: Practicing simple melodies
- Aural Training: Basic pitch and rhythm recognition
- Repertoire Preparation: Learning Central Conservatory of Music Grade 1-2 simple pieces (e.g., folk songs or short tunes)
