This ready-to-play kick drum features a standard 18 ", high-quality, all-birch traditional kick drum shell with Roland 's advanced kick drum pickup electronics. Roland 's innovative air rig mechanism works with an 18 -inch traditional drum shell, which pushes the air action and provides resistance when the drumsticks hit the drumhead, resulting in a stable and accurate pickup with the hit feel of a traditional drum. The KD-180 can use dual kick drum pedals and is compatible with almost every V-Drums sound module. The KD-180 also fits perfectly into a mix of traditional and electronic drum kits, combining the look of a kick drum and triggering to play any drum sound you want.
