Learn techniques such as hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, vibrato, fingerpicking, natural harmonics, and artificial harmonics.
Learn techniques for playing pop songs on the acoustic guitar, including various strumming and fingerpicking patterns.
Practice methods for playing and singing simultaneously, enhancing performance skills.
Learn ornamentation techniques and methods for playing pieces from different eras, including style and tone handling.
Learn a variety of fun pop practice pieces, with course content updated periodically.
Learn chord solo playing techniques to enhance musical expression.
One-on-One Guitar Course Syllabus (Aligned with ABRSM Requirements)
This course is designed for beginners, aligned with ABRSM beginner requirements (Debut/Grade 1), covering the following topics:
- Music Fundamentals and Theory: Understanding staff notation, tablature, and chord charts
- Scales and Arpeggios: Practicing C, G, D major scales (one octave)
- Basic Fingering Techniques: Learning first-position fingering
- Sight-Reading: Practicing simple melodies
- Playing Techniques: Dynamics control and clear tone production, including hammer-ons, pull-offs, and vibrato
- Aural Training: Basic pitch and rhythm recognition
- Repertoire Preparation: Learning ABRSM Grade 1 level simple pieces
- Performance Techniques: Combining simple chords and melodies, enhancing sing-and-play skills
