▾ DSX180
The Intellivox-DSX180 is ideal for smaller, less reverberant environments, enhancing speech intelligibility. It can also serve as a filler system for larger Intellivox installations, providing coverage in shaded areas. A single Intellivox-DSX180 can cover an area of up to 25m while maintaining uniform sound pressure levels in the audience area. Ten custom-designed 4-inch speakers and four 1-inch dome tweeters are driven by an eight-channel Class D amplifier and powered by a precision-switched mode power supply, ensuring years of reliable operation.
The dome tweeter in the DSX unit not only improves high-frequency coverage but also enhances the system's subjective sound quality for both speech and music. Extensive monitoring capabilities are implemented to meet the stringent requirements of typical audible alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using proprietary WinControl software, providing user-friendly control of beam-guided parameters, audio processing, and monitoring functions. Its moderate array length makes the Intellivox-DSX180 suitable for easy and discreet implementation, even in the most architecturally sensitive environments. The system's low-frequency response can be easily extended with JBL subwoofer systems.
Performance, beamforming, versatility. Exceptional voice clarity, slim and unobtrusive design, extended frequency response up to 18kHz, higher fidelity, wide horizontal diffusion, vertical beamforming (DDS technology), 32-bit floating-point DSP, vertical beamforming control, dual-line input, volume control, latency (up to 20 seconds), 8-band parametric EQ, 8 user-defined, password-protected presets (recallable via third-party control devices), AVC (Automatic Volume Control) via built-in ambient microphone, upgradeable firmware, network-ready, integrated monitoring, emulated via DDA, Catt-Acoustic, Odeon, and EASE 4.3.
Applications of the Intellivox-DSX180: Larger Intellivox installations for fill or delay systems, worship spaces, conference facilities, lecture halls, and A/V demonstration rooms. Options include external ambient noise and temperature sensors, input sections with 1 x 0dBV and 1 x 100V, input sections with 2 x 100V, a full range of mounting accessories, and color matching services.
Software System. WinControl™ directly controls DDC™ drive products for aiming axis, opening angle, and focus distance. It is also used to set other audio parameters, including 8-parameter EQ bands, delay, AVC function, volume level, monitoring related parameters, pilot tone detection, priority switching, and 8 full presets. Enables uploading DDS™ directness files calculated by DDA™ to speakers. RAPID DDS™ allows the creation of DDS™ files to speakers without using DDA™. DDA™ integrates geometric modeling, direct sound prediction, statistical room acoustic prediction, graphical visualization, radiation pattern optimization, and output filter file generation. File transfer to WinControl™ is used for uploading to the speaker DSP unit.
